Bermula 1 Jun, 2019, pelancong yang tiba di Korea tanpa mengisytiharkan perkara yang tertakluk kepada kuarantin seperti haiwan, ternakan, dan produk haiwan boleh didenda sehingga 10 juta won. Sejak penyebaran Afrika Swine Fever di negara-negara berdekatan, denda maksimum telah dinaikkan dari 1 juta won kepada 10 juta won untuk mengelakkan penyakit daripada memasuki Korea.

Pastikan anda tidak membawa produk haiwan yang tidak dibenarkan masuk ke Korea Selatan

Menurut Badan Kuarantin Haiwan dan Tumbuhan, pengembara dari negara-negara yang terjejas oleh Fever Swine Afrika, seperti China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Kemboja, Rusia, Republik Ceko, Hungaria, Itali dan banyak lagi, harus mengisytiharkan daging babi dan produk ternakan yang berkaitan. Jika ditangkap tanpa mengisytiharkan, denda pertama adalah 5 juta won, denda kedua ialah 7.5 juta won, dan denda ketiga ialah 10 juta won. Bagi mereka yang ditangkap tanpa mengisytiharkan produk haiwan lain seperti daging lembu, daging domba, daging ayam dan banyak lagi, denda pertama ialah 1 juta won, denda kedua ialah 3 juta won, dan denda ketiga ialah 5 juta won.

Item tertakluk kepada kuarantin (barang terhad) termasuk:

Haiwan: anjing, kucing, burung, dan lain-lain
Produk ternakan: Daging lembu, daging babi, ayam, itik, sosej, ham, daging lembu, daging kalengan, daging rebus, produk daging olahan diproses (kari), dll.
Produk haiwan: Antlers, tulang, bulu, dsb.
Produk tenusu: Susu, keju, mentega, dll.
Produk telur dan telur: Telur ayam, telur burung, putih telur, serbuk telur, dll.
Makanan haiwan, makanan ringan, vitamin, dan lain-lain

New Rules of Animal Products To South Korea. Starting June 1, 2019, travelers arriving into Korea without declaring items subject to quarantine such as animals, livestock, and animal products can be fined up to 10 million won. Since the spread of African Swine Fever in nearby countries, the maximum fine has been raised from 1 million won to 10 million won in order to prevent the disease from entering Korea.

According to the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency, travelers from countries affected by African Swine Fever, such as, China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Cambodia, Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy and more, must declare pork and related livestock products. If caught without declaring, the first fine is 5 million won, the second fine is 7.5 million won, and the third fine is 10 million won. For those who are caught without declaring other animal products such as beef, lamb meat, poultry meat and more, the first fine is 1 million won, the second fine is 3 million won, and the third fine is 5 million won.

Items subject to quarantine (restricted items) include:

Animals: dogs, cats, birds, etc
Livestock products: Beef, pork, chicken, duck, sausage, ham, beef jerky, canned meat, boiled meat, beef tallow processed products (curry), etc.
Animal products: Antlers, bones, feathers, etc.
Dairy products: Milk, cheese, butter, etc.
Egg and egg products: Chicken eggs, bird eggs, egg whites, egg powder, etc.
Pet food, snacks, vitamins, etc.
