Among our favorite dinner menu in Kuala Lumpur is ‘Kari Kepala Ikan Padang’, famous Fish Head Curry in Uptown Hawkers, Damansara Utama. This is our favoruite dinner place and we eat curry fish head Julin Xuan since my first month in Kuala Lumpur back in 1999.
MrJocko really like this Padang Curry Fish Head compared with Mamak Fish Head Curry. It’s because this Padang Curry is slightly more soft than Mamak’s Curry. We can feel Padang Curry is quite soft and ‘red fish head’ selection is delicious.
That’s why, last week once again I brought the children to eat there after a week of eating Lemang, Ketupat, Raya cookies and all sorts of other elections. It’s a time to eat something different than raya menu, hahaha,,,
The other best part is when most of other people still celebrate raya at kampung. Then this place become quite comfortable. So no need to queue, no need to wait for a long time and still have a lot of best fish head size. Normally, when you when to Julin Xuan after 8.00pm, you can’t get best fish head and only manage to buy body of the fish only.
Alhamdulillah, this Julin Xuan Padang Fish Head Curry still taste delicious. My kids, Khalish and Hasya really like to eat this Padang Curry Fish Head in Uptown Hawkers. Of course next time, we will come again ;).
