Medan Trip By Fireflyz

Our flight departed from Subang Skypark and landed safely in KualaNamu International Airport, Medan, Sumatra at about 10:15 local time. Flights with ATR 72-500 aircraft from the Subang Skypark heading to Medan is smooth and exciting. This is my first time Fireflyz plane experience.
On arrival at the KualaNamu Airport, we were greeted by a representative Fireflyz Airlines Medan, Mr. Wilson and Mr. Dicky together with representatives of the Tourism Indonesia, Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan, Division North. They will took us to Parapat Lake Toba and will join this Media Trip.
As we will proceed for more than 5 hours from Medan to Parapat, our first stop was at the Restaurant Simpang Tiga, one of the famous restaurant in Indonesia which provides Minang cuisine menu. Of course we are here for lunch while enjoying the traditional cuisine of Indonesia, Minang cuisine.

From Simpang Tiga restaurant, we went on again and was stopped in the center of the biscuit company named PATEN. This Paten shop is famous for sale of crackers bean of choice for many tourists when in Medan. I myself had bought a few boxes of biscuits to take home to Patent Malaysia.
The journey from Medan to Parapat going through a hilly road will take a long time. Instead, when tired, can snooze points before arriving at the destination. But I’d rather see a beautiful view of the hills all the way to Parapat.
After 6 hours, we finally arrived in the Danau Toba International Cottage to stay overnight and dinner. It was a tiring journey, but an exciting experience. Can not wait to explore the lake Toba and Samosir Island the next day while learning about the history and legends of Lake Toba as we’ve ever heard.
To be continue… My Medan Trip Part 2
